Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been babysitting since I was about 12 or 13 years old. It all started with helping my cousin, who had a one-year-old and was pregnant with her second child. That experience taught me a lot early on about responsibility and what it means to care for someone who depends on you.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun and creative activities with kids that keep them engaged and smiling. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outside, and dancing to music. I also enjoy cooking and baking simple recipes together—it’s a great way to teach life skills and have fun at the same time. Most of all, I love creating a space where kids feel safe, happy, and free to be themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I started babysitting for neighbors and family friends, and it just kept going from there. Even though I have an older sister, I mostly grew up like an only child, so babysitting became a way for me to connect with younger kids, almost like having siblings of my own. I’ve always loved being around children because they’re honest, playful, and full of energy. There’s no judgment just curiosity and joy. Watching a child grow and knowing you’ve played even a small part in that is incredibly rewarding.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was baking cookies with a little girl I was watching it was her first time, and she was so excited to do everything herself, from cracking the eggs to decorating with way too many sprinkles. She couldn’t wait to show her parents and kept sneaking little tastes along the way. Seeing how proud she was made my whole day. It’s those simple, sweet moments that remind me why I love working with kids.
