I think the most important of caring for a child is making sure that you understand them. You can always try and make a schedule or follow the books but nothing compares to hearing and learning from the child.

My favorite nanny moment was watching one of my twins potty for the first. She was scared and confused about getting on the potty, but when she got up there a did her business we both were so excited and we screamed so loud and giggled.
