For me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel loved and comfortable. I believe that open communication with parents is essential. I also believe it’s very important for the nanny and the parents to be aligned in their approach to discipline, routines, and values, so the child experiences consistency and stability every day.

Honestly, I do not have direct experience with special needs children. However, I am eager to learn and adapt to provide the best support possible for these children. I understand the importance of patience and open communication to offer appropriate care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It’s hard to pick just one favorite nanny moment because there have been so many special ones! One that really touched me was when the youngest child drew a picture of me at school alongside her family. Itwas such a sweet surprise. But if I had to choose a favorite, it would be our movie night. I set up a cozy fort in the living room, made popcorn and brigadeiro (a Brazilian dessert), and we all watched a movie together. Everyone loved it, and seeing their excitement and joy made it an unforgettable experience!
