I love being super interactive and making sure the kiddos I watch have a blast! I love swimming and going to the park or the pond to feed turtles during the summer and having dance parities and doing arts and crafts!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure that each child I watch feels taken care of, safe, and loved! I make it my goal to provide a happy and fun environment and to always be there for every child I watch no matter what! I think being involved in and outside of work is super important, whether it’s going to watch a sports game on a weekend or attending a school event- I think that personal connection really helps the child feel supported and brings the family and nanny closer!
My experience with special needs children...
I have always loved working with children with special needs and have watched for a few families with children who do have disabilities/special needs. I also spent my senior year of high school shadowing at a pediatric therapy office where I learned a lot about the care and support children with special needs require!
