I have worked with children throughout my years in high school on various mission trips in and out of the country. I have also been babysitting/ nannying for 3 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love either getting them active outside by discovering new parks in the area , going to the beach or to a pool. I also love to take them to places that can fun but educational too, like the aquarium, zoo, or even kids museums. As much as I love getting kids and myself outside I also love spending time indoors doing arts & crafts or learning activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
As much as having fun would be my answer, it comes down to safety. I want the children to feel safe with me as much as the parents do. It is a lot to put the trust into having someone care for your children and help alongside with the family. I do everything in my power to make sure my kiddos and the entire family feel safe. I like to think no matter the age, they can come to me if they need anything and feel safe with everything.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I truly cannot say that I have a favorite nanny moment. All the moments I have with the kiddos have their own special moments in my heart and as a caregiver that is all I want.
