Every time I help my 8-month old nephew balance on his feet he starts grinning because he is proud of himself for standing up. It is so cute! One of my nieces is 5 and when I help her with her memorization of things like fruit names or colors she gets really excited and it makes me happy to see her happy to be learning. She often tells me that I am her favorite aunt; my brother will ask her if he is her favorite and she will say "nope, I like Grace" (my middle name). It never ceases to be funny.
