More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for kids in my own family and community, including infants and toddlers who needed patience, structure, and steady emotional support. I’ve handled everything from bottle feeding, diaper changes, nap routines, and soothing fussy moments to keeping little ones engaged with play, music, reading time, and simple developmental activities. I’ve also supported older children with homework help, rides, meals, and creating a calm, predictable environment — especially during tough transitions or high-stress moments.
These experiences taught me how to stay calm under pressure, tune in to each child’s personality, and show up with consistency, warmth, and common sense.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging kids with simple, meaningful activities that help them learn and feel connected. With infants, I enjoy tummy time, gentle stretching, reading aloud, singing, and sensory play that helps them explore safely. As they grow, I love doing crafts, going for walks, playing games, dancing around to music, and creating little routines that make them feel secure and excited to learn. I’m big on activities that build confidence, curiosity, and comfort, while keeping everything calm, safe, and fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and steady space where a child feels completely protected, understood, and loved. Babies can’t use words yet, so they depend on the energy you bring — patience, calm, consistency, and real care. It’s not just about feeding, changing, or keeping a schedule; it’s about being someone they trust, someone who shows up the same way every day.
A nanny becomes part of the child’s foundation, and that’s a big responsibility. You’re helping shape their sense of comfort, confidence, and security. To me, that’s the heart of the job — showing up with love, respect, and reliability so the child thrives and the parents feel at peace.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience has mainly come from supporting kids in my own family and community who needed extra patience, structure, and emotional understanding. I’ve learned how important it is to stay calm, communicate clearly, follow routines, and meet each child exactly where they are. I’m attentive, compassionate, and quick to adapt to whatever the child needs in the moment — whether that’s slowing things down, creating a soothing environment, or breaking tasks into simple steps.
While I’m not a specialized therapist, I’m very comfortable following instructions from parents, sticking to care plans, and providing steady, respectful support. I’m always willing to learn and adjust so every child feels safe, valued, and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are always the quiet, unexpected ones — when a baby finally melts into my arms after fighting sleep, or when they lock eyes with me and give that slow, gummy smile like they just decided I’m officially part of their safe world. There was a day I was rocking a little one who’d been fussy for hours, and out of nowhere she let out this tiny laugh in her sleep. It was such a small thing, but it reminded me why this work matters. Those little flashes of trust, peace, and joy… that’s the part of nannying I love the most.
