Talking WITH children and not at them. Helping children to feel they are heard and that they matter! Learning from them and with them. (Repetition is key.) Example… working on manners, improving habits, cleaning time, reading time, play time, art time.

I was able to stay with a family of 4 kids while their parents went on a trip. I got to take them and pick them up from school, and before school, we would read the scriptures together! It was such a neat experience seeing how much brighter their days were when they started off by reading the word of God.
