My experience with special needs children...
I had a child once with cerebal palsy he was the sweetest thing,his name was kev and he was in a wheel chair. His mom said he couldn’t move or he couldn’t eat but i worked with kev and eventually kev began to drink soup and eat porridge,he also stood up for me out of his wheel chair and thats how i know no kid is defined by their disability. You are who you want to be with just the right amount of help.

Was when one of them called my name,she was just turning one and she said my name. I was super excited and happy.
