Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a huge active person, I love going on walks and runs. I also love any excuse to go to a playground! I nanny for a lot of boys and they are super obsessed with monster trucks so that has recently become one of my favorite things to do as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I definitely think the most important part of nannying is Connecting. It is definitely possible not to connect with a child, Just like it’s possible that everybody doesn’t connect with each other. I think that it’s very important too show them a lot of attention and show them that you are interested In the same things that they are! Everybody even children love somebody that they can relate to!
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have a ton of experience with special needs children, I do nanny for one child only one day a week with autism from my experience with him. It just seems like he’s just much more of a busybody than most kids and definitely gets bored more easily, but every kid is different!
