I have two nephews who are both autistic. Nonverbal to be specific. I am my nephews legal guardian and I would sometimes babysit my other nephew. In high school I was really close with my buddy who has Down syndrome. I was one of the few people he trusted in the school and helped him out in numerous situations where other people couldn’t.
