More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve had several great experiences working with kids! I worked at a church summer camp for a year, where I helped plan fun activities and keep the kids engaged and safe. I also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) over the summer, supporting children with special needs and learning valuable skills in patience and communication. On top of that, I’ve cared for my nieces and nephews for years ,which has given me lots of hands-on experience with kids of all ages.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with kids! It’s such a fun way for them to be creative and express themselves. Whether we’re making colorful drawings, DIY projects, or seasonal crafts, I enjoy helping them bring their ideas to life. I also like adding in a little learning , like practicing colors, shapes, or letters ,while we create together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment for the kids. It’s not just about watching them ,it’s about connecting with them, making them feel cared for, and helping them learn and grow. Being reliable and patient is key, and I always try to make sure both the kids and parents feel comfortable and supported.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) over the summer, where I got hands-on experience supporting children with special needs. I learned how to be patient, understanding, and use positive reinforcement to help kids reach their goals. It was such a rewarding job, and even though I had to leave to go back to school, the experience taught me so much about communication, compassion, and how to meet each child where they’re at.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments was spending the summer watching my younger cousins. We spent our days doing crafts, having little dance parties, and going on walks to the park. One day, they surprised me by putting on a “show” they made up just for me , complete with costumes and songs we had practiced together earlier in the week. It was such a sweet moment that showed how much they enjoyed our time together, and it reminded me how rewarding it is to help kids be creative and confident.
