More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked within two different daycares and been a nanny for around five years, plus babysitting. I’ve been watching kids since I was about 10.. I watched my brother and many other families over that time, in which I can show you my profile to back it up. In addition to nannying I babysit, pet sit, housesit and do cleaning. I have experience with newborn to thirteen-year olds, each with their own personality and some with special needs (hearing impaired, autism, ADD, ADHD, etc).
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything they want to do (that’s safe of course). Playing outside, playing in playrooms, playing in their rooms, etc. I also have a lot of activities that I can offer if planned out correctly. I love to do activities with children, I have many pre-planned and have some materials. I ask for $5-$15 for things I have already. I also have an amazon list for other materials that I do not have. I do work with things that you as much as I can. I bring the activities as part of working with me but ask for money to help replace them, buy them and more to keep them going. I also love taking children to places like parks, movies, trampoline parks, Peppa pig, LEGOLAND, zoos, aquariums and much more.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is being more of a family member especially to the children. I prefer that the children do not feel like I am there just to get paid because it is not that at all. I want the children to know I love being with and doing things. I have been referred to as a child's friend or even a sister by the parents, child and when taking them out.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother who had ADHD, Autism spectrum and other things. A little girl that was hearing Impaired. School age kids that are behind in every subject. Children with anger issues.
As a while as children that speak more than English. I have been exposed to American Sign Language, Portuese and Spanish. American Sign Language I have a book for, I used to know way more honestly. Portuese I am planning on taking lessons. I am open to learning more.

I’ve worked in Early Childhood Development professionally in some capacity since 1998. I did briefly try corporate America, but quickly realized my heart is in working with children and families. For the past 17+ years, a nanny and family assistant. I’ve worked long-term with seven different families, all of which would describe me as dependable, fun, committed, safety-focused, and kind.
In addition to providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care, I handle all child-related responsibilities as well as family laundry, meal planning and preparation, and a full household reset each evening.
I implement a loose curriculum centered around learning through play. I create lesson plans, display the children’s work, and share frequent photo updates throughout the week. I feel it is important that children are given the opportunity to learn about their community and practice social skills by going on adventures outside of the home.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Orion Township, MI: Samantha F.
Hi! I’m Sam! I’ve worked with children and animals my whole life. Volunteering at my church, watching family friends children, and friends of friends as well, and also working at a daycare briefly. I’m a fun, energized, creative, loving person. I gratuated high school early getting a jump start on life. During that time I was active in cheer, dance, yearbook, and other small social activities. There’s nothing better than hearing a child’s laugh and seeing their smile and that is one of my goals when applying for any position. I want to keep your child(ren) safe, happy, and healthy. Never hungry, never sad. I’m also very good with dogs, cats, lizards, all animals. I travel frequently to stay with my sister to help her watch my nephews for extended amounts of time. I hope this brief description helps you find out who I am a little!
