A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn DeNoble! I am 32, and the oldest of 6 kids, so I’ve had a lot of experience, caring for, and doing fun and creative activities with my younger siblings!

Professionally, I’ve had around 2 years experience, working with different children: from infants through adolescence, as well as those with special needs. Aside from that, I’ve also babysat for associates who needed extra help with caring and watching over their children.

I am also First Aid/CPR/AED/O2 certified, as well, and have had valuable experience, being a life guard!

Personality-wise, I tend to be caring and nurturing when it comes to children, and I also have a positive, funny personality that children tend to love and feed off of! I am also very compassionate and do my best to see things from others’ perspectives, while problem solving to find the best solution for any given situation. I am also very neat and tidy and will help to keep your house clean! I also know how to cook and bake.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked as a nanny, at a childcare, working/caring for infants, through the 5th grade; I’ve worked/cared for children at a couple group homes with special needs; I’ve worked as a life guard at the YMCA and Roaring Springs, which I cared for the children, there; I volunteered for “The Edge,” which is a church youth group for middle school teens; I’ve volunteered as a Religious Ed teacher’s assistant; I’ve babysat for a few different families; and lastly, I’m the oldest of 6 children, so I’ve had much experience caring for my younger siblings. 🙂

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go outside with children, playing child-friendly games and activities outside with them, making sure they have an enjoyable experience and they’re getting exercise; taking them to fun places, like: amusement parks, water parks, parks, places they’d like to eat at, and any other place that the kids love, that their parents would approve of; baking; reading; teaching them essential life skills; and finding creative activities to do that are child-friendly!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure that the children are happy, that they are safe, that they are growing into the best children they can, that they are getting the best care they can get, and making sure I can help the parents out the best I can!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve cared for special-needs children in group homes, making sure they learn in ways that are best suited for them, to help them to learn essential skills in life, to help them to become successful, and making sure they’re fed the right kind of diet, as well, if they have certain allergies or food sensitivities/intolerances. I’ve also worked with a young child with special needs, nannying, as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moments, were definitely times, when we’d go out and do fun activities, together (Swimming, water parks, trampoline parks, going out for treats), as well as playing “Just Dance,” and jumping with the children on the trampoline at their home! Basically, making the best memories! 🙂
