I’ve been a consistent babysitter since I was 19, gaining experience with a variety of ages and family routines. I’ve also worked children’s birthday parties as a face painter, which helped me learn how to keep kids engaged, excited, and comfortable in busy environments.

I love reading to children because it helps build their imagination and creates a little world they can step into. I also enjoy arts and crafts, especially using everyday objects to make something fun and creative. One of my favorite things is exploring outside—going on walks, noticing nature, and helping kids feel curious about the world around them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is being an active role model. Kids learn so much from what they see, so I believe it’s important to show positive behaviors like being kind to animals, cleaning up after ourselves, and staying curious and open to learning. I also think it’s essential to be human with them—apologizing when we make mistakes, talking through emotions, and showing them that everyone has good and bad days.

One of my favorite nanny moments was receiving the book Dear Nanny on my last day with my kiddos. It was such a sweet reminder that the love and care goes both ways.
