in the last four years, I’ve worked at multiple daycare facilities, mainly being an assistant teacher, but the last daycare that I was at, I was transitioning into becoming a lead teacher, but ended up having to leave the facility due to some health reasons for my daughter.
My experience with special needs children...
I did work as a registered behavioral technician and that mainly works with children with autism and down syndrome just to help their day-to-day life after they get home from school to see how their day was and we do some developmental activities and just work with them and see any struggles they’re having at school or at home and we try to help them work through that and find other ways they can cope with stress or anything that might be upsetting them.
