My name is Kaiya! I am very interested in watching children grow and learn things along the way. My approach with children is always consistent and trustworthy. I try to keep the parents informed as much as possible with what's going on with their children. I have a very high patience level which always comforts parents when I'm watching their children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have helped out since I was 12 at in home childcares including my mother's and friends. I have also worked with the infants in two childcare centers. I have a total of 5+ years babysitting, volunteering with kids, working at bible camps, and working in in-home and daycare settings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like reading, playing with toys appropriate for their age group and helping them with their daily needs. I also like taking them to the parks and spray parks when it's nice out. I love going for walks in the summer and in the winter I like cuddling up with them and reading books!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing for me to remember as a nanny is to make sure the parents and kids are well taken care of. This means sending parents messages and videos of the children if asked for, confidentiality, and making sure the kids are wanting to have me come back and work with them. If the family ain't happy, then I have not done my job 100%!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with kids that have autism, depression, generalized anxiety, food allergies, and much more. I have worked with kids who have physical as well as mental health disorders.
