A little bit about me

I’m a college freshman who is looking to help take care of kids! I’m planning on becoming a teacher after college and have worked with kids throughout my life. I have ADHD and am familiar with helping children with special needs.
I haven’t had any long-term nannying/babysitting experience yet due to focusing on finishing high school, but now that I graduated I plan on working with kids when I can, to be more prepared as a teacher.
My father is a PE teacher for Pre-k through 8th and a high school track coach. I have played sports my whole life, specifically swimming and softball but have played many others.
I am willing to become CPR certified if necessary.

I have helped with aftercare at my elementary/middle school and with my father being a teacher I am around kids often.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I personally prefer to be outdoors so if you are looking for your child(ren) to be outside playing, that’s great! However, if your child(ren) prefer to be indoors and you are fine with that, I am fine with that.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me is helping kids when parents aren’t able. Parents have a lot of responsibilities and I want to help lighten the load and assist whenever I can. Engaging kids is a lot of work and with other responsibilities it’s hard. I want to be able to help in any way I can.

My experience with special needs children...

I personally have ADHD so I am very familiar with any needs the child(ren) may have. I am comfortable with assisting kids with other needs as well.
