A little about my experience:
I have been taking care of children for over 8 years, ever since I needed to stay with my brother and cousins for my parents to work, but I also have experience working as a full-time baby sitter, as well as experience taking care of special children with autism and down syndrome.
I am an architect and currently studying project management. I speak portuguese, spanish and english an i’m very loving and passionate about children. I love interacting with them, playing and contributing to their development. I am also passionate about animals, traveling and anything involving creativity and the outdoors.

I also cared for my little brother when he was small and currently care for my cousin with special needs when my aunt needs me to support.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing with them, going outside to parks, and doing outdoor activities, dancing, cooking, learning and helping them with learning basic skills, and always making them laugh.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing about being a nanny is making sure I’m following the rules of the children’s parents and that the kids respond positively to my care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have substantial experience working with children with Down syndrome and severe autism. The children I’ve taken care of range in ages from 8 months old to 9 years old. I’ve had multiple paid positions with children of others and in addition to that, my cousin has had autism since birth and we are very close. I continue to babysit for him to this day. I’m very patient and kind with my special needs kids, and I understand how to communicate with them, feed them and ensure they get the proper care they need and deserve.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I see how excited my kids are to see me when I don’t see them for a few days. It makes me feel like I’m making a difference and that I matter to them in their lives. I get a lot of enjoyment from making my kids happy.
