I truly enjoy spending time with children and creating activities that are both fun and educational. Some of the activities I love to do include reading stories, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and organizing interactive games that encourage creativity and teamwork. I also enjoy helping with homework, planning learning activities, and discovering new things together through music, dance, and simple science experiments. My goal is always to make every activity safe, engaging, and adapted to the child’s age and personality, so they can learn while having fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment as a nanny is when I see a child’s face light up after learning something new or achieving a small milestone. Whether it’s taking their first steps, finishing a puzzle, or proudly showing me a drawing, those moments remind me how rewarding it is to support their growth. I also treasure the little daily moments, like hearing their laughter during playtime, sharing stories before bed, or when they run to me with a big hug. These experiences make me feel truly connected to the children I care for and motivate me to give my best every day.

So I go by my middle name, Dawn. I’ve been in childcare since I was 13 years old. I babysat for many families! Then I found myself in daycare and did that for a few years till I found the perfect family to nanny for. I had my son in 2012 and the girls were teens so I slowly looked for another family to nanny for and found a few, they were great but one family lost a job and couldn’t support me and another lost a house and also couldn’t support me.. I then got back into daycare and love it but my true passion is being a nanny. I love watching children grow and to be outside! I am also willing to help with homework. I’d love a family that would be willing to include my son, not necessarily full time since he is in school. I’ve had him with previous families full time and it went well.
