Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do imaginary play, and I get so glad to see a play kitchen or a house full of bright toys! I am very creative and am able to make up games, songs, and fun engaging ideas on the spot. I also love to read, and it’s such a joy to make a child laugh when I read using silly voices.
My experience with special needs children...
I have nannied on several occasions for a three year old girl with cerebral palsy. I have learned to feed her, change her, play with her, take her out on walks, and so much more without any issues! I see each child as a child worthy of a beautiful life, and I don’t view any special needs child any differently, and I actually really enjoy working with them!
