More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied for two wonderful families, providing full-time care for children ranging from infants to school age- supporting their developmental milestones, daily routines, and enriching play. Prior to nannying, I taught in a Montessori school, where I gained valuable experience in fostering independence and hands-on learning. I've also worked as a camp counselor, leading group activities and encouraging creativity and teamwork, and served as a supervisor for a middle school after-school program, where I organized activities and ensured a safe, engaging environment for students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite things to do include dancing and singing songs, exploring sensory bins, going on nature walks to collect leaves and rocks, and having lots of story times with interactive questions. I also enjoy setting up art projects like finger painting or sticker collages.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of the job is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the children and their families. It goes beyond just keeping kids safe and entertained- it’s about creating a nurturing environment where they feel seen, heard, and supported as they grow. Consistency, patience, and clear communication is key. When children feel secure and understood, they thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. Being a positive, reliable presence in a child’s life is a responsibility and honor I take to heart every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny happened during a rainy afternoon. I set up a “living room castle” with blankets, pillows, and pretend horses and carriages. We sung and danced, had a royal ceremony, and hosted a royal ball. The kids were completely immersed in the experience, and their excitement and imagination made the whole room feel magical. It reminded me how powerful creativity and connection can be in making everyday moments truly memorable.
