A little bit about me

I am the eldest of 3, our mother was in the military and I would often be relied on to watch over my siblings and cousins. So in a sense I have been taking care of children since I was a child. I have attended courses for areas of study such as Child Developmental Psychology and Early Education. I have attended culinary school in order to educate myself on nutritionally balanced meals. I have worked in hotels as housekeeping services as well as having been a housekeeper for residential properties. I worked as a full time caregiver for a disabled veteran for years, I am well versed with caring for adults and attending to their specific medical needs.

The most important part is being attentive to details, every child is different, they will have different needs, every family is different and will have different needs as well. The skill to accommodate the wants and needs that parents have for their children and their home environments is absolutely essential.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I don’t think I have a specific moment which I hold as my favorite. I’ve always enjoyed watching the children I care for grow and learn. Experiencing the beautiful moments where they’ve finally reached a goal, conquered a challenging task or had some kind of major breakthrough.
