My name is Karen Lara, I am 20-year-old. I speak both Spanish and English, love to bake and sometimes cook, but with a passion for working with children. I begin volunteering with children at my church during my freshman year of high school. After completing my high school education in 2022, I decided to venture out and gain more experience in working with children. I traveled to Colorado Springs and became a counselor at a traveling summer camp, where I had the opportunity to engage with children from various backgrounds and create meaningful connections with them.After coming back I was able further my career in early childhood education. I got a position as a teacher assistant at a private preschool.My dedication and commitment were quickly recognized, and I was offered a lead position for the early preschool classroom after just a few months.
