Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes serving as a 2nd Grade Summer Academy Teacher with Savanna School District, completing a full-time student teaching assignment in a 5th grade classroom, teaching kindergarten English at Colegio Bosco in Mexico, tutoring elementary students in math and ESL, volunteering in special education classrooms, and teaching technology and social skills to students with special needs through my remote position at Sarsis. These experiences strengthened my ability to supervise children, support their learning and development, ensure their safety, and build positive relationships with students and families.

As a volunteer in special education classrooms, I assisted students with daily activities, academic support, and individualized instruction. In my remote position with Sarsis, I taught students with special needs technology skills and social skills while providing encouragement and adapting lessons to meet their individual needs. These experiences helped me develop patience, flexibility, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite childcare memories is taking care of my younger siblings and cousins. I loved planning fun activities, helping them with homework, playing games, reading stories, and watching them learn and grow.
