A little bit about me

I am taking part time classes at the UW as a post-bachelors with the ambition to obtain my teacher certificate. Most recently I have been working in real estate, however my passion and previous work experience is with children (hence the reason for going back to school to become a teacher!) I am very responsible, honest, reliable, and energetic. I think it is very important for kids to play outside, use their imagination, and learn through play and experiences. I am a very active person and enjoy the outdoors. My professional experience includes the program director for a before and after school care company. I was responsible for on average 30-45 kids. I did everything from homework help, playing outside, organizing games in the gym, and teaching mindfulness. Before that job, I was in charge of the Child Watch center for the YMCA. I worked with babies as young as 6 weeks up to toddlers.
