More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

One position was M-F 6a-11a, where I got the kids ready for school, made breakfast/cleaned up & walked them to their schools (in Brickell). While they were in school, I would do their laundry, meal prep, light house keeping & end the day, while leaving it organized for mom & dinner/snacks ready!

The other family had 3 children as well. This position was 12p-6p & I would run errands if needed/prep dinner upon arrival, complete light house keeping, walk their dog, pick up the kids from their bus stop, take them out for any of their appointments, and sports practice. Nightly routine would consist of dinner, cleanup, homework, & getting them ready for bed.

I have also been trusted by many friends that have had children & needed a babysitter/nanny during the end of their maternity leaves. I have experience with newborns-adults, and I have also worked with individuals with disabilities for over 10 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts & Crafts, Board games, educational games, using our imaginations in & out doors, learning about different interests each child has, the park, etc.

Depending on their age, each child will display their likes/dislikes & I’ll learn more about them as we get to know one another.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny, is understanding the needs of the parents, first. Once I understand what a parent is looking for, I can then implement their expectations with my own twist. It is very important to treat each child as an individual, while making them feel equal in the world. My top priority is to make each child feel safe, loved, happy, and has a positive role model by their side.

My experience with special needs children...

I have over 10 years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities. I have experience in working with individuals with autism, Down syndrome, brain injuries, behavioral issues & more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the families was from Saudi Arabia & they enjoyed teaching me Arabic. I’ll never forget their cute way of saying my name & teaching me their language/culture,

I also enjoyed being 1:1 with the only girl out of two brothers, as she adapted quickly & we walked her dog together daily! On Halloween, we also had a blast trick or treating in their neighborhood.
