I have some experience working with children with special needs, mainly children who are nonverbal. Through my childcare experience, I've learned the importance of being patient, understanding, and paying attention to each child's individual needs and ways of communicating. One of my favorite moments working with children is seeing them get excited when they learn something new or accomplish something they've been working on.
