A little bit about me

I'm 18 years old. I come from from a family of 6. I love photography, drawing, and painting. I am extremely well with any child. Working with kids and being able to create a bond with them and watching them grow, is what I love most about babysitting/being a nanny.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a teacher assistant for the first grade teacher, where I would take them outside and play games with them and also keep them on track and pass out papers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Jump on the tramp, go for a short walk, go to the park, play board games, watch a movie, go explore (the back yard).

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a nanny means you have to have respect, kindness, fun, as well as the knowledge and willing to discipline and say no. But making them smile and laugh, and watching them trust you, thats the most important part.

My experience with special needs children...

Before I graduated high school, I helped with this amazing kid who had special needs. Him and I had a special connection in which no one could understand why and how. I helped him get in his bike, get him ready to eat, and I also played with him.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was babysitting these 3 boys who are all very shy. The first day I babysat them, i asked them how old they are, the oldest looked at me and then looked back at his feet, the second oldest looked at me, smiled, and then looked down at his feet, but the youngest(who was about 12 months at the time looked at me with no expression, then he laughed. That was the most funniest reaction I have ever gotten from a kid.
