Hi my name is Kassandra and I am 21 years old. I have enjoyed working with children my entire life. I have two younger brothers who I have helped raise. I currently help nanny an 7 year old girl and a 2 year old toddler who always make my day. Although I don’t have experience in child care centers, I have been a nanny/babysitter since I was very young! I believe that ensuring the children’s joy and safety should be the first priority. Communication is key between parents and caregivers to make sure that the basic needs of the children are met as well as reaching expectations set in regards to the specific style of care you expect. I have taken care of my brothers since they were born and have also looked after others through friends & family. I now also take care of an amazing little girl who is 6 years old and very enthusiastic, as well as the sweetest 1 1/2 year old baby boy who is very bubbly and energetic!

I enjoy taking the kids to the park and doing arts & crafts with them! Educational playtime is always a must!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Personally I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child feels comfortable being cared for by someone else. Building healthy relationships with the family and communicating their needs for the children paves way for a longtime bond.

I currently take care of a six year old girl who is on the spectrum. I also look after a now 1 year old baby boy who’s very energetic.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the best moments for me have been when I see the kiddos excited to see me. It warms my heart to know that they feel comfortable and enjoy their time spent with me. Being able to see them grow and achieve great things makes me happy!
