A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kassidy Wilkerson, I am currently attending Colorado Mesa University to pursue a bachelor's degree in sociology and an associates degree in criminal justice. I am set to graduate in December and looking for a nanny job I can work long-term until my daughter (due in March) is old enough to attend school. One of my passions is helping people and spreading kindness- I truly believe the world needs more of that. I have been a certified teacher aid for a year and a half now and have worked with ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. I have many passions including the love for the outdoors, my family, people, children, and the criminal justice field. I am looking for a family that needs help with their little ones where I can teach, provide, and love your children like my own! I am able to work limited hours starting immediately (due to my school schedule), but in December plan to work full time until I go on maternity leave for 6 weeks in March.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to connect with the children on a personal and professional level. While it is important to be a rock for the children, it is also important to be a role model and help them discover the difference between right and wrong. I plan to love your child like I will love my own and by doing so, I hope to share some of my knowledge and beliefs that your child can carry with her for the rest of her life.

My experience with special needs children...

We have a few special needs children at Little Mavs Daycare, which I have attended to. I have also worked with children who need extensive care, such as feeding tubes and wheelchair assistance.

The most important part about being a nanny...

At the daycare, I can't say there is a special moment. Each and every day brings its own uniqueness. However, morning crafts are my favorite to do and I love being able to help each child find their creativeness.
