Hey there, I’m Kate! I’m a funny, kind, reliable, & trustworthy 23-year-old that loves children (especially babies)! I am highly experienced and have even taught at private preschool’s. Some things I love to do with kiddos are go for walks, play outside, go to the pool in the summer, color, read, and learn together. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Not only am I an experienced babysitter/nanny with about 9 years of experience but I additionally am preschool teacher! In March 2024, I began teaching in a professional pre-school setting and have continued to do so until I left for college in January 2026. At this time, I am currently a student at Longwood University and am working towards my degree in Elementary Education!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some things I love to do with kiddos are going for walks, playing outside, going to the pool in the summer, coloring, reading, and learning together. I love getting to be creative, silly, teach children, and develop genuine relationships with kids and their families! I’m pretty much happy to do whatever your kid(s) enjoy!

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have experience with being the primary caretaker for a child with special needs, however I do have experience with having special needs students in my classrooms. I feel it is a special opportunity to get to work with unique individuals and be able to develop deep connections with these children and their families!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I loved getting to see the kids I care for learn and grow, it’s so special and exciting! One of my favorite moments from nannying was from summer of 2022. The little boy I nannied told me he was ”so happy you’re a part of my family”, I almost cried! As a teacher my favorite moment are when my students are happy and feel safe. I want all my kids and their families to know that I love them and truly want them to be happy as I feel honored to get to be a part of their lives.
