Hello i’m Katelyn Oudekerk! I’ve been watching kids as a job since I was in highschool and have worked at the YMCA in childcare and was working at the daycare in Nicollet in childcare. I recently got cut hours from there and I’m in desperate need of a new job right now. I love watching kids and being able to care for them and make sure they have fun! I know how to clean, do some cooking, and anything else that might be needed! I’m currently going to MNSU and i’m majoring in Dietetics so hours during the week would be needed for me as I do homework on weekends but If needed I also can do weekends. I’m looking forward to hopefully getting to watch your children and make sure they are adequately taken care of!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at the YMCA in my hometown of Albert Lea, MN. I worked in childcare and made sure the kids got snacks, bathroom breaks, water bottle filled, and overall made them feel safe and cared for. I also have watched multiple families kids since 2021 up until now. I have experience with mainly older kids such as preschool-elementary but could definitely do younger as I was a nanny for a family this past summer with a 2 year old and 4 year old. My most recent childcare job was at Nicollet at the daycare there where I worked with preschool and elementary age kids. I gave them snacks, made sure they didn’t get hurt, and supervised bathroom time. I recently got cut hours there and that’s why I’m not working there at the moment.
