More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of experience working with children of all ages in both educational and extracurricular settings. I began as a substitute teacher, working with students from preschool through 8th grade, including many children with special needs and behavioral challenges. I later became a kindergarten teacher aide, where I worked in a classroom of 20 students, 8 of whom had Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). In this role, I helped support each child's academic, social, and emotional development while assisting with daily classroom activities.

In addition to my classroom experience, I also served as the assistant coach for 7th and 8th grade girls' volleyball and basketball. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to build positive relationships with children while creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and craft, reading books/story telling, Educational games, puzzles, Sensory bins/ play dough/ play ground/ baking simple recipes. Go to the library, ride bikes, beach day and visiting zoo or aquarium (parents Approval), nature walks, picnics and many more activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to grow. I believe it's important to build a strong relationship with both the children and their parents through open communication, patience, consistency, and reliability. My goal is to help children learn, have fun, and feel cared for while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands.

My experience with special needs children...
