Hi there! My name is Katey. I have an Associates Degree in Art majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have worked as a preschool teacher for the past 5 years, and am currently a SAHM, looking at the possibility of nannying while also having my son with me. I love having fun, being creative, and playing! I promise to provide a safe and nurturing environment, that stimulates growth and learning. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have worked the restaurant industry in the past so I don't mind cooking light meals and I am happy to do light housekeeping. In my free time I love to read, as well as do arts/crafts, which I find fun to implement when working with children. I am comfortable with using Developmentally Appropriate Practices and am most familiar with Creative Curriculum and comfortable with Conscious Discipline approaches.
