Hi! I’m Katharine, a recent graduate of Mississippi State University currently living with my family in Georgia. I’ll be relocating to California in December and am looking for a full-time nanny position. I’ve been caring for children since 2019 and have been a summer nanny for four consecutive years. I currently nanny for two families while also working part-time and have experience with children of all ages. I especially enjoy working with ages 4–8, but I’m open to all ages! I have been babysitting for multiple families since 2019 and became a summer nanny four years ago. I have experience caring for children of various ages and have also volunteered at multiple children’s camps, helping supervise, entertain, and engage with kids in a fun and supportive environment!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping children active, engaged, and having fun! Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, baking and cooking, playing outside, going to the park or pool, reading, playing games, and coming up with creative activities that match their interests. I also enjoy helping with homework and creating fun routines that make everyday activities exciting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe it’s important to be dependable, patient, and attentive while also making each day fun. Building a genuine relationship with the children and earning the trust of their parents is what makes being a nanny so special.

My experience with special needs children...

While I do not have formal professional experience working specifically with children with special needs, I am comfortable caring for children with different personalities, needs, and abilities. I am patient, compassionate, and willing to learn each child’s individual routines and needs to help them feel safe, supported, and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are always the little everyday ones, when a child gets excited to see me, tells me about their day, or asks me to play their favorite game for the hundredth time! I especially love watching their personalities grow and being someone they feel comfortable, happy, and safe around. It’s so rewarding knowing that I get to be a small part of their childhood and create memories they’ll remember.
