"We’ve really enjoyed having Katherin help our family with our twins. She started with us when they were newborns, mainly for date nights and whenever we needed an extra set of hands. She was always patient, gentle, attentive, and dependable. Katherin helped with feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and keeping up with their routines. We also trusted her to help with the kids when we traveled or were away. The twins were always comfortable with her, which gave us great peace of mind. She was easy to communicate with and we always knew our babies were in good hands. We would absolutely recommend Katherin to any family. She is caring, responsible, and wonderful with children!"

"We’ve been so lucky to have Katherin as someone we can count on to help with Addie. She has been such a caring and dependable person in our family’s life. She has taken Addie to her skating practices, painting, Irish dance, and other activities when we’ve needed an extra hand. One thing we especially love is that Katherin also teaches Addie Spanish. Now that Addie is in second grade, Katherin still helps us occasionally with different things, and it’s always a relief knowing Addie is with someone we trust. Katherin has such a sweet relationship with Addie, and Addie really loves spending time with her. She is patient, responsible, caring, and always makes sure Addie is safe and having a good time. She has been a huge help to our family, and I genuinely appreciate having someone like her that I can call when we need help. I would definitely recommend Katherin to any family. She is someone you can trust, and I know she will care for your children like they are her own."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My relevant experience includes caring for children of different ages and backgrounds. I cared for two girls previously, and I also cared for a little boy from the time he was a newborn until he was 4 years old and started Pre-K. During that time, I was responsible for his daily routine, meals, diapering, naps, playtime, activities, and overall care and safety.

I currently have experience caring for a 7-week-old newborn as well. Before moving to the U.S., I was also a teacher in Colombia, which gave me additional experience working with children and creating age-appropriate activities. I have also occasionally helped a family with their daughter by taking her to and from her activities and classes.

I truly enjoy working with children and being someone they can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for around.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing a variety of age appropriate activities with children, including reading books, arts and crafts, drawing, music, dancing, outdoor walks and play, and simple educational activities. With younger children and babies, I enjoy tummy time, sensory activities, singing, talking to them, and helping them explore their surroundings. I also love taking children to parks, libraries, playgrounds, and age-appropriate activities in the community. I always try to make activities fun while also helping children learn, explore, and develop new skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is making children feel safe, loved, and cared for while supporting their growth and development. I believe it is important to be patient, dependable, attentive, and respectful of each family’s routines and parenting style. Building trust with both the children and their parents is very important to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have professional experience caring for children with special needs yet. However, I am patient, caring, and willing to learn and follow the specific routines, instructions, and needs of each child and family.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching the little boy I cared for grow from a newborn into a happy, independent little boy. Being there for so many of his first milestones and seeing his personality develop over the years was very special to me. One of the most rewarding parts was knowing that he trusted me, felt safe with me, and was always excited to spend time together. It reminded me how meaningful it is to be part of a child’s life and development.
