My name is Kathryn, I'm 20 years old. A few things in my profile may seem a little weird, I haven't been paid for babysitting, but I've been taking care of my nieces and nephews since I was 10. I've babysat from newborns, to 10+. I have reliable transportation, and no traffic violations, nothing on my record. I am a very safe driver. I have 2 nephews with autism, one whom I've raised since he was an infant. I am working on getting my CPR and First Aide certifications I just don't currently have them. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading and writing with kids. Anything artsy or creative. Parks, going outside, walking, playing in the yard. Blowing bubbles, using chalk, them riding bikes. Having movie days/nights on occasion. If there are any public libraries. I am very vigilant when it comes to kids, I'm always aware of our surroundings in anything we do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me it's about making a great connection with the family, but also making sure they know their kid is safe and happy with me. That they can trust me. Trust plays a very big part into any role with kids, and it's my job to ensure you they are getting proper care and treatment.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for 2 boys both whom have autism. One I've known since he was born.
