I worked as a paraprofessional/ instructor in an after school program. I worked with up to 20 students in a classroom setting with a variety of age groups. I have some experience with special needs. I have behavior and classroom management experience. I have also instructed a multitude of STEAM activities with my students.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building connections with the kiddos. As I mostly have classroom experience my favorite part was teaching them social emotional learning and independent responsibilities.

I have worked with some special needs children in a classroom setting with minimal to no support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment when working with kids was when we did a huge fizzy chalk art activity to spread kindness around our school community. Another was reading time in my classroom where a student I was having a difficult time with read to other students and I was able to see the progress and development this student made in a couple of weeks of working together :)
