A little bit about me

I am an energetic, patient, nurturer who is passionate about helping facilitate the learning and development of children. I enjoy teaching Capoeira (African-Brazilian martial art) to preschoolers and introductory Spanish. Children help keep me young at heart and often remind me of what is most important in life. I have over a decade of experience working as a nanny, au pair and VPK teacher. My past employers would tell you I have a natural ability to help children feel secure and thrive. One of my strengths is helping children channel their energy in creative and positive ways as well as my adaptability which has been cultivated by years of experience working with all ages.
