I am a 58 year old grandmother of a beautiful 2 year old boy and have another grand baby on the way. Playing and teaching my grandson has reminded how much I enjoy working with the little ones. I was a program director of a special needs daycare about 15 years ago. The rest of my professional career I have worked at a non-profit that specializes in at-risk children and teens. I have always wanted to have jobs where I can help people and I thought there are probably families who might like a grandmother type, who loves teaching children, and wants to see every child get the individual attention they need. I have a bachelors degree in Organizational Management and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. I have completed many background and FBI checks through the years so no problem there. Also willing to take a drug screen. I have had specific training as well as many years experience on redirecting unwanted behavior, absolutely no spanking or touching a child in angry.
