I have been a PCA (personal care assistant) to a child with special needs as well as a swim instructor teaching children of all ages and abilities how to swim and water safety skills!

Outdoor walks, building fairy houses, yard games, chalk on the driveway, scootering/biking, building with legos, baking, dress up, and more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

is keeping everyone safe. Safety is a huge priority for me as it should be everyone’s main concern.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for multiple children with special needs ranging from minor to very difficult behavioral issues. Down Syndrome, Autism, Speech Apraxia, Muscular Dystrophy and others are some of the disabilities I have worked with. This is something I’m very passionate about as this will be the population I will work with once I receive my degree in Occupational Therapy.
