Hello! My name is Katie and I am currently in my third year as a biology student at UC and hoping to become an orthodontist! I have been working at an educational daycare for over a year now with ages newborn to 12 years old. I am really proud of the center I work for and would love to utilize what I have learned. I am very available with time, however, my school schedule sometimes has very odd hours. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked for an educational daycare as an assisstant preschool teacher for a year in March of 2025. My brother also currently has a newborn and I have been helping with care since his first few hours in the hospital.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I would be very willing to take children to any of their favorite fplaces such as the park, the zoo, the pool, etc. I am also fairly athletic and would love to work with children to better develop their abilities. I am currently a college student and love learning myself so I would love to help with homework or educational activities!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think it is very important for chilren to have a constant in their lives. I love working with parents because I can always feel when they genuinely care about how the consistency and support with affect their child in the future. I know it is not always easy for parents to provide outside of the house while also be there for their children during the weekday so I always appreciate being able to bridge that gap for families. It is very important for me to feel apart of the family and for the children to see me that way.
