I believe that safety is the MOST important part of nannying. I also think that it is very important to build a good rapport with the parents and children in order to help them feel comfortable and trusting around you. Continuing to be comfortable and feel cared for in their own environment can go such a long way when it comes to helping the child continue to grow in certain aspects of their life!

I have some experience woking with special needs children not only in specific high school classes but also when I was a gymnastics teacher and occupational therapy assistant.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my nannying jobs included caring for two girls starting out at 1 years old and turning 2 during our time together. Being able to assist them in more independence with certain age appropriate skills is probably my favorite nanny moment. I really enjoyed seeing the excitement on their parents faces after showing/telling them about the new skills their girls were learning!
