A little bit about me

My name is Katie. I am currently seeking a full-time summer job! I am finishing up my third-year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I am majoring in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. I have worked in both before/after school care programs and summer camps for the last two years. I also have experience working as a Personal Care Assistant for an amazing 9 year old that has spastic quadriplegia, a form of cerebral palsy. I am currently certified in CPR and First Aid. Along with this, I have also passed the Massachusetts Teaching Educator Communication and Literacy test. I love being outdoors doing many different activities such as hiking, swimming or even just a long walk but also enjoy being creative with doing DIY projects and activities. I am also very organized and self sufficient. Most importantly, I enjoy working with children. They bring happiness and joy through their unique perspectives and endless energy.
