My name is Katie Yarbrough, I am 20 and have an almost 8 month old son. I finished the early childhood pathway in high school and worked as an after school teacher for a while. I’ve baby sat children since I was 14. Currently I’m looking to watch children where I’m able to have my son with me. I’m a very hands on person and would love to do crafts or activities with a child and I’m not just going to stick a child in front of the tv or game all day.I can cook and clean if needed. The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is following the parents wishes and communication. It’s crucial that the nanny and the parent are on the same page when it comes to the children in what they can and cannot do or have. I don’t want a child saying that I let them do something you do not allow or me not doing something that I should be because I didn’t know I was supposed too.

I have experience with children that have ADHD, ADD, and other special abilities that may need extra care or attention.
