A little bit about me

I've spent most of my life dedicated to the care of animals, seniors and children. I have experience as childcare teacher in a daycare setting working primarily with 3/4 year old children. I also spent this time working one on one with our friends whom where diagnosed with different levels of autism. I worked 10 years in a CNA position for long term care and rehabilitation. After receiving my Phlebotomy certificate I moved on to Dentistry. I received my RNA license and assisted in pediatric dentistry. After taking some personal time off to care for a family member I was blessed to become the nanny of 3 children ages 2(twins boy&girl) and 4(girl). In the year I've been with them we've accomplished potty training, talking, manners, abc's and writing, basic math, and so much more. With all our milestones I like to focus the most on building self-esteem, learning perseverance and giving them the care, support and encouragement needed to learn and grow as a happy fulfilled child.

Preschool teacher for a class of children ages 3&4. Group size of 12 in an early learning daycare environment.
Full time nanny of 3. Twins aged 2 boy&girl as well as the big sister of 4yrs old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love anything that involves hands on learning and the outdoors. Reading books and solving mysteries. I'm all about the imagination and letting kids really enjoy being just that, a kid! Building castles out of sticks outside our quietly seeing what we can make out of playdough on a rainy day. Never a dull moment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is providing a secondary foundation to a child providing safety, guidance, respect and hope for a future they can be proud of.
