I have experience working directly with children as a Kids Club Manager at LA Fitness, where I supervise children, maintain a safe and welcoming environment and engage with them through activities and play. I also have experience caring for patients in healthcare settings, which has strengthened my patience, communication, responsibility and ability to provide attentive care. I am CPR/BLS and First Aid certified and a registered EMT, I am comfortable following safety procedures and caring for children with different needs and personalities.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, coloring, reading, playing bored games and doing fun learning activities indoors. Outdoors, I enjoy going to the park, playing outside, taking walks and encouraging kids to stay active and explore. I also love joining in on imaginative play and creating fun activities based on each child’s interests!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is making sure a child feels safe and cared for and comfortable while also allowing them to have fun and be themselves. Being patient, dependable, attentive and understanding is SO important and I believe building trust with both the child/ren and their family is a big part of providing great care.
My experience with special needs children...
I have previous experience working with autistic children and understand the importance of being patient and attentive to each child’s individual needs. My healthcare experience has also taught me how important compassionate and individualized care is. I enjoy creating a safe, comfortable environment where children feel supported, respected and able to be themselves and attentive to each child’s individual needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working with children is seeing them become comfortable and excited to see me. I love when a child opens up, wants to play or gets excited to share something with me. Those little moments are special because they remind me how important it is to make children feel safe, cared for and valued.
