A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a certified elementary school teacher looking to care for children over the summer. I have a passion for creating fun, enriching experiences that help kids learn and grow while enjoying their break. I love planning hands-on activities like arts and crafts, reading time, and educational games, as well as getting outdoors for adventures like park visits, nature walks, and active play. My goal is to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can have fun, stay curious, and make the most of their summer!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m a certified elementary school teacher with 3 years of experience working with children from 3 through 8th grade.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include arts and crafts, hands-on science experiments, and creative learning games that make education fun and engaging. I also love reading together, helping with writing or storytelling, and encouraging imagination through play.

Outdoor time is just as important to me. I enjoy planning park trips, nature walks, scavenger hunts, and active games that keep kids moving and exploring. I’m always excited to tailor activities to each child’s interests while keeping them engaged, learning, and having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and trusting environment where children feel supported and valued. Building strong relationships with both the children and their families is key, along with being patient, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs. I believe it’s also important to encourage growth, curiosity, and confidence through positive guidance and engaging experiences, while always prioritizing the child’s well-being and happiness.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was seeing a child I worked with gain confidence in something they had been struggling with. After spending time practicing through fun, low-pressure activities, they were so proud of themselves when it finally clicked. Watching their excitement and seeing that boost in confidence was incredibly rewarding and reminded me why I love working with kids.
