Hi! My name is Kaye! I am 25 years old and living in Crystal,MN! I have a lot of experience with children of various ages (mainly from personal family relationships) and am excited to meet new faces! I am a Pediatric Registered Nurse with CPR, BLS, and PEARS certifications. I have four pets of my own, two cats and two dogs. I have a personal vehicle, so transportation is not an issue! I enjoy being outdoors and getting to work closely with families. I am looking for a long term (1+ year) position and hope to get to know my nanny family very well! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In my teenage years I did a lot of volunteer work pertaining to children! I volunteered a lot at the local elementary schools in Farmington, where I grew up! I helped run the daycare service they provided after school, as well as participating in the school fairs and family fun nights! On top of this, I taught different 3rd grade classes French my entire senior year! More recently, I spent time tutoring high school students!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love puzzles! They are a great way to bond with children on a personal level, but they are also very enriching! On top of puzzles, I love watching movies and painting! These are so fun to do and make some great homemade decor! When the weather is nice however, I do enjoy spending my time outside! Either hiking, picnicking, or hanging out at the beach! Summer is too short in Minnesota, so I try and spend as much time outside as I can!

My experience with special needs children...

Working at a pediatric hospital has provided me with quite a lot of experience working with children who have special needs. I care for medically complex children daily and am comfortable using a variety of medical equipment. Some equipment I have used is feeding pumps (kangaroo), medical tube cares such as G-tube site cares, feeds, and medication administration. I have also worked with children who have oxygen needs, suctioning needs, developmental delays or deficits, and conditions such as cerebral palsy.
